About Chris Pepin
Chris is an Executive Information Technology Architect for the IBM Office of the CIO in the Global Infrastructure team. In this capacity, Chris has responsibility for IBM's internal end-user computing services technology strategy and architecture for 385,000+ employees world-wide. This includes laptops, netbooks, desktops, thin-clients, smartphones, operating systems, web browsers, client virtualization and desktop cloud.
As part of his job responsibilities, Chris is frequently asked to brief external customers on how IBM leverages its own products and services internally. Chris is frequently invited to speak at conferences and has authored over a dozen articles on Lotus technology and authors a weblog on collaboration at www.chrispepin.com
In his sixteen year career at IBM, Chris has held a variety of technical leadership roles and worked for Global Technology Services (GTS), the IBM office of the CIO, IBM Software Service for Lotus and IBM Global Financing.
Chris holds a Master's of Science in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math/Computers Science from Stonehill College. He lives in western Connecticut with his wife, two young sons and baby girl.
